Grain Design Flooring was established in 2015 as a wood flooring contractor. Owner, Jason Strunk, saw an opportunity to bring his passion for wood floors to the Cincinnati Market. With the help of other professionals and mentors in the industry, the roadmap for Grain Design Flooring was forged and the company’s journey began. Co-Founders Matthew Placke and Alex Hamilton directly impact the high standards at Grain Design through their belief that passion is cultivated through exposure and continued education. Grain Design believes that a client’s experience is directly related to the education and skill set of the crew on site.  For this reason, all flooring installers on our team are nationally certified through the NWFA (National Wood Flooring Association). We pair this high level of experience onsite with a team of estimators and office staff for whom customer service is the top priority.  At Grain Design, this is, and will continue to be the successful recipe to ensure our clients have the best experience when choosing a floor covering.

Since our establishment in 2015, Grain Design Flooring has evolved from an exclusive wood flooring business to a top-rated flooring company offering sales/installation of all floor coverings. In 2019, Grain Design began offering carpet, tile, luxury vinyl, and laminate to our showroom, meeting all demands for our clients. Wood flooring will forever be the backbone to our company, offering custom hardwood selections, which is why we call ourselves Grain Design Flooring. We strive to carry the principles that founded our company into the other aspects of the flooring business and help those clients with their flooring needs.
